Group Centre Activities

NCS Group offers many programs to help people live full and happy life. Social inclusion and engagement programmes help individuals discover their “unique spot” in life where they feel respected and comfortable.

Center-based Activities and Groups enhance socialization in Makassan Care. Support staff leads these self-directed skill-building centre-based activities. We encourage independent and workshop/group activities.

OUR GROUP AND CENTER-BASED ACTIVITIES HAVE:

  1. Things to do with arts and crafts
  2. Classes on music, games, and how to cook and even more.

Specialised Supported Employment:

When a participant’s needs go beyond those met by employment services and employers’ support, we, as an NDIS-registered provider of specialized supported employment services, step in to help. This includes providing such things as personal care, transportation, and assistive technology, and we are also responsible for fostering relationships with mainstream providers and the local community.

Participate Community

At Makassan Care, we believe that every day is a chance to go higher and reach your goals. We agree that everyone should be able to have fun and take part in social activities, social events, and leisure activities.
We are proud to offer community participation as a way to help people reach new goals, learn more about themselves, and push their limits.

At Makassan Care, we promise that no matter what your interests and hobbies are, we will make a plan that fits your needs. You can go on adventures with a group of people who share your interests and explore your potential, or you can work one-on-one with our highly trained staff.

At Makassan Care, we offer a wide range of activities to get our participants involved and help them become more part of the community as a whole. Our services are available all week long, giving you the freedom, you need.

Household Tasks

If you have a disability or health problem that makes it hard for you to do everyday housework, Makassan Care can help with a number of general housework tasks. We are proud of our commitment, hard work, and dedication. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to do things around the house. That’s why we’re here to help.

Makassan Care can help you clean up every day, every week, every two weeks, or just once a season. Our staff is trained to use hospital-grade cleaning products that are safe for both people and the environment to make sure your home is clean.

Some of the cleaning jobs we do include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Doing the laundry
  2. Dishwashing
  3. Taking care of the yard and house

We can set up a weekly clean or help with an annual spring clean, depending on what you need.

Our cleaning staff is honest and works hard. Our first cleaning service will be a deep cleaning that will cover a lot of ground. Depending on what you want, we can change how often cleanings happen. We can also set up a seasonal clean-up to make sure that your home is clean all year round. Our services are flexible, so you can choose how you want to use them.

Development Life Skills

Development of daily living and life skills focuses on training and development activities that the participant or their carer does to help them live as independently as possible. These activities include helping the participant travel, use public transportation on their own, practice and keep up with personal hygiene, and do many other things. Life skills are ways to act in a positive and adaptable way that help people deal with the challenges and demands of life.

We know what your goals are and work with you and your family or caregivers to set up ways to help you learn everyday skills, with a focus on building your confidence and ability to do things on your own. Makassan Care will help you reach your goal if you want to learn a specific skill. We also help you learn how to talk to people and live on your own. We offer services to help you and your family or caregivers deal with the problems you face every day and to put in place plans that will make it easier for you to handle these problems.

Innovation Community Participation:

Participating in community-based activities makes you feel more connected to people and the bigger community, which is good for your well-being. Your well-being is our top priority. Better well-being affects many different parts of life, such as education, work, health, and happiness.

The Innovative Community Participation Program from Makassan Care is meant to help NDIS participants build skills, show off their hidden talents, and get involved in the community. It also helps people become more independent and confident around other people. We can help you get involved in the community by giving you support and letting you do the things you like while also teaching you new skills.

Our multiethnic team is qualified, enthusiastic, and ready to help you set goals and work with you to reach them.

Anyone can live their life to the fullest, even if they have a disability. We help people get involved in their communities by:

Daily Tasks/Shared Living:

Participants in the NDIS program receive assistance that enables them to live freely. As part of the planning process, participants’ home and living objectives may be brought up for discussion.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will pay for the participant to receive any necessary support or housing help as part of their plan.

Supporting Independent living is a form of assistance that can be provided so that you can continue to live in your own home that helps with independent living.

Assist-Travel/Transport:

NDIS participants are supported and cared for by Makassan Care’s caregivers. Some of the assistance tasks include cooking meals, making sure that medications are taken, and normal day-to-day cleanliness and personal grooming.

A disabled person’s health, happiness, and growth depend on their Makassan Carer. So, at Makassan Care, we have put a lot of effort into making sure that all the caregivers we recommend are well-trained, kind, and friendly. With NDIS funding, the cost of caretakers is also lowered because they are so important to the life of a disabled person.

We know that moving on to a new stage of life is hard for everyone, but it can be even harder for people with disabilities. At Makassan Care, we do a great job of guiding NDIS participants through changes in their lives. There are many turning points in a person’s life, such as when they start school, leave home, get their first job, or retire. At each of these stages, you can benefit from a planned approach that looks at your own skills, needs, and goals. With the right planning and networking, we can help you get through the changes in your life and reach your goals.
